Neighborly

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Neighborly ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Neighborly connects clients with independent service providers in South Africa. We are a marketplace, not the employer of providers.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it when it changes.

3. Services and bookings

Job requests, chat, and scheduling tools help you coordinate with providers. Neighborly does not guarantee availability, pricing, or outcomes of any job.

Payment for services is made directly between client and provider unless otherwise stated. Neighborly is not a payment intermediary for service fees.

4. Provider obligations

Providers must comply with applicable laws, hold required licences where relevant, and deliver services safely and professionally.

Providers must not misrepresent qualifications, pricing, or availability. Promoted listings must reflect actual services offered.

5. Reviews, praise, and trust

Clients may leave multi-axis reviews and short praises after completed jobs. Content must be honest and respectful.

Neighborly may moderate reviews that violate our policies. Trust tiers and verification badges reflect documented checks, not guarantees of performance.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not harass others, post unlawful content, circumvent fees, scrape data, or use the Platform for fraud.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or our Code of Conduct.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neighborly is not liable for disputes, injuries, property damage, or losses arising from services performed off-platform.

Our total liability for Platform-related claims is limited to fees paid to Neighborly in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
